First, we need to find out your project outline, goals, and results to succeed for you. Early conversations provide us with an opportunity to explain how we function, our vision and make sure we are a good match for each other. We will help determine the best paths forward and identify some main ways or alternatives.
The process of discovery allows us to understand your business, competition, possibilities and challenges. This understanding feeds into all potential choices and helps us to give you the very best recommendations.
It's a combination of our innovative and technological experience with your unique expertise in your area.
We'll add a separate planning stage for more extensive or complicated projects. We create a site map at this stage, the outline of routes users can search through your site and note any technical requirements or obstacles. We will address any content, photography, video specifications and settle on timescales for delivery. With over seven years of experience, we're experts at what we do, and on smaller projects, this phase will be included within the discovery.
The research phases complete their time to bring the preparation into motion, producing high-detail design comps in Photoshop or similar tools with essential pages and components. To include you in the process, we involve you throughout, sharing sketches and ideas early on.
It's time to see things in motion with the design signed off, as we begin to breathe life into the design, creating a website that is accessed on one of our test servers in your browser (away from the public). This provides an opportunity for those interested in the project to test out the website's mechanics to ensure that it meets the goals and works as imagined.
We run various tests throughout the process, including a complete code review after initial development and cross-browser and load time testing before going live. To give end-users a consistent and satisfying experience, we ensure that our designs work across modern browsers and platforms. For particular audiences, we will help older browsers, but this must be explained at the outset.
An exciting moment and culmination of all the hard work, making it publicly accessible with the site being transferred into its live setting. We run through some live post checks and closely track the search engines if a site map restructuring was included in the work.
